Couples was a game exclusive to the British edition of Whose Line Is It Anyway. It was heard a few times on the Radio show, then seen twice during the first season,and never heard from again after that.

This game can be described as a hybrid between Characters and Film And Theatre Styles. Two people were given a scene and then Clive would periodically buzz in with suggestions of couples [Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble, Prince Charles and Princess Di, Sean Connery and Dame Edna, etc.] to which the performers would continue the scene in.

What made this game great was that it gave the impressionists a chance to shine. Rory Bremner and John Sessions played one round of this game and John and Enn Reitel played the other. This game more likely than not could have been played more if impressions didn't become a novelty factor on the show. The only person in later episodes of the show who probably could have pulled is Greg Proops. Nonetheless, if one has the opportunity to view Couples, take advantage of it.
