I had some issues with money and paying the registration fee for the name idiotsite.com. Now that I have that managed and such, you should all be seeing the idiotsite.com homepage and such again. If not, wait a couple days and you will. Then later in the week a transfer to a new registrar will go through and you may lose sight of it again for a couple days, but not to worry. All will be well soon. This does though mean that I cannot in any way afford to give any money to the message board which is due in about three weeks. You guys will have to pull together on that if you wish it to remain advertisement free.
The main contact for the idiotsite (bigidiot @ idiotsite.com) will soon be changing. Too much spam on the current account. Soon it will be "JayWTBF @ idiotsite.com". The reason you see spaces in the addresses right now is the reason that it is changing. When an email address is put on the page of a web site, spammers can parse through and pick up addresses directly from the page. When the process is complete the new address will be as stated above, without the spaces, and available to be used by those who know, and the comment form as well.
I have been given full blessing to take apart the picture pages and redo them, from the current (now former) curator, Midnyte Mercury. I am looking at some automated programs to help me do this and make it nice and neat and easily updateable. Look for a change in the next week.

That is out of 16 sections. The other sections are farther behind. Pictures, which is scheduled to be renovated, only ranked number 6. The Idiot's Blog is number 8. The Idiotsite has a small icon that is placed in your favorites folder when you bookmark any spot in this site. The number of times the icon is downloaded indicates how many times that the site has been placed in someone's favorites. 182 times in the past 30 days. The site averaged 272 visitors a day in the past 30 days, with January 2nd being the most visited day with 431 on that day alone. The most traffic heavy times of the day here are between 10:00 pm and 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. Country popularity in order (1) United States of America, (2) Canada, (3) Singapore, (4) Australia, (5) United Kingdom, with hits from 49 countries total in the past 30 days.
All I can say after pouring over the stats is, WOO!

Happy New Year! Hopefully this new year will be productive and not too discouraging if we find that WL on ABC is really finished. Work still needs to be done on a few sections, and a few flashy effects would be nice. Of course keep suggesting new things and the idiotsite will continue to try and please.
