It looks like crisis has definitely been averted this time for US fans of whose Line. It has finally come down to two days before WL's return to ABC and it is STILL on the TVGuide.com schedule. We'll get the Richard Simmons episode and another previously unseen episode. Hopefully Canadians will too (on what CTV?, I forget). The reason I, and the other idiots are so worried about Whose Line going off the air with new episodes is hard to explain. But I'll try. Once WL goes off the broadcast station it will be relegated to cable (probably ABC Family) which automatically cuts its possible viewership down to half it's potential. Then its cable schedule (in the US) will be sporadic unless a channel turns it in to a cornerstone, which isn't likely. Soon after it is off the broadcast stations it will likely not last long then, in my estimation no more than a couple years. Which does three important things...makes people forget, lessens the chance of new fans, and decreases online participation in fan communities. See? The reason we are so worried about it is because we want more friends in the community. The reason may be selfish, but the site and the fans would be much happier if WL didn’t end for years to come.

And also, I will be home alone for the next three weeks. In that time I need to think hard about ideas to get the chat room and contests going again. If you have any ideas email me!
